Quadratic Functions

This unit bundles student expectations that address analysis of quadratic functions and their characteristics, including interpreting and describing the effects of parameter changes. Investigations of situations represented by quadratic functions include data collection, real-world problems, and use of technology.

What does "a" do to the Graph?

Students will learn what the coefficient of x squared does the parabola.

What does "b" do to the graph?

Students will learn what the constant b does to the parabola.

Solving Quadratics by Graphing

Students will learn to solve quadratics by graphing.

Solving Quadratics by Factoring
